Baa, baa, black sheep,

Baa, baa, black sheep,
Have you any wool?
Yes sir, yes sir,
Three bags full;
One for the master,
And one for the dame,
And one for the little boy
Who lives down the lane.

History:

No historical significance can be attributed to this nursery rhyme. It is sung to the same tune as "A, B, C, D, E, F, G" which in turn is from a French tune ("Ah vous dirai je") .

When New and Used Record launched on January 1, 2006, it was simply a music blog. Since that time it has grown to include a series of podcasts and a record company. The focus of this blog has shifted recently to making sense of all the aspects of pop culture that fascinate us to no end. Each day, a different aspect is looked at theoretically (and often critically) and then supplemented with a series of movie trailers, music videos and television clips.
